To maximize comfort during your treatment, your physician will usually apply a topical numbing cream beforehand and may also use air cooling throughout the procedure. Depending on the specific concern being treated, the session typically lasts approx 30 minutes. You may feel a warm or prickling sensation as the laser is applied to your skin, but the treatment is gentle and should not cause significant discomfort.

The Stellar M22™ Photorejuvenation treatment works with your skin to remove your imperfections. Some skin concerns such as shallow pigmentation and age/sun spots can be cleared with as few as 1-2 treatments. Typically 2-6 sessions with 2-4 weeks in between are needed to achieve optimal results for most skin concerns.

After the treatment, you may notice some redness, which varies based on your customized settings. This usually fades within a few hours. In most cases, you can apply makeup right away and resume your daily activities the same day. However, your physician will likely recommend avoiding direct sun exposure for a few weeks and using sunscreen regularly.
