Photofractional for Stretch Marks

The Stellar M22™ Photofractional™ treatment is an advanced and effective approach to improving the appearance of stretch marks on various areas of your body. This innovative technology combines two powerful treatments: IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and ResurFX™ non-ablative skin resurfacing. Together, these solutions target both skin tone and texture, delivering comprehensive treatment in a sequential process.

To ensure maximum comfort, your physician will typically apply a topical numbing cream before the treatment and/or use air cooling during the procedure. Depending on the area being treated, the session typically lasts 15-30 minutes. You may feel a warm or prickling sensation as the laser is applied, but the treatment is gentle and should not cause discomfort.

The Stellar M22™ Photofractional™ treatment stimulates deep collagen regeneration over a series of sessions, leading to smoother skin and improved discoloration in the affected stretch mark area. You may begin to notice improvements after the first session. For optimal results, 3-5 sessions spaced 2-6 weeks apart are typically recommended. However, improvements can continue for up to six months after the treatment.

Immediately following the treatment, you may experience some redness or swelling, depending on the settings used for your customized treatment. The swelling will subside within a few hours, and the redness will fade within a day or a few days. Most patients can resume their normal activities the same day. Your physician will likely recommend avoiding direct sun exposure for a few weeks after the treatment and applying sunscreen.

By combining both IPL and ResurFX™ technologies in a single treatment session, the Stellar M22™ effectively addresses both skin pigmentation and texture simultaneously.
