How does it work?
The ResurFX™ fractional laser is an advanced, non-ablative skin resurfacing technology designed to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin fibers in the deeper layers of the skin. By encouraging collagen production, this treatment helps restore a more radiant, youthful appearance.

What should I expect?
The Treatment
To maximize your comfort, your physician will likely apply a topical numbing cream before the treatment and/or use air cooling during the procedure. Depending on your specific concerns, the session typically lasts between 15-30 minutes. While you may feel a warm or prickling sensation as the laser is applied, the treatment is gentle and should not cause significant discomfort.
When will I see results?
Lumenis® ResurFX™ works by stimulating deep collagen regeneration through a series of treatments. Typically, around 3 sessions are required to notice visible improvements in skin texture. However, changes in pore size may be visible after just one treatment. Full results are usually seen after 3-5 sessions spaced 4-5 weeks apart, though improvements can continue for up to six months after treatment.
What can I expect after treatment?
After your treatment, you may experience some redness or swelling, depending on your personalized treatment settings. Swelling typically subsides within a few hours, and redness usually fades by the next day or within a few days. Most patients can resume their normal activities the same day. Your physician will likely recommend avoiding direct sun exposure for a few days and applying sunscreen to protect your skin.
